Fires burning in numerous locations in Southern California pose no immediate threat to Beverly Hills at this time. However, the Beverly Hills Fire Department is on alert with extra precautions in effect, to both prevent and respond to fires, particularly in the hillside areas.

Providing financial assistance is the most effective way to support the evacuees, including pets and animals. The public is encouraged to donate through the following organizations:

 American Red Cross http://www.redcross.org/

 LA County Animal Care https://lacountyanimals.org/give/

 211 LA County https://www.211la.org/donate

Local and social media are advertising a a variety of avenues through which interested parties can donate.
REMINDER: Crowd-funding and local organization can be tools of tremendous good, but as with all fundraising activity, verification of on the ground efforts is encouraged.
